To successfully complete this course, students are expected to:
Attend all scheduled sessions regularly
Actively participate in class activities and writing tasks
Complete all writing assignments and homework on time
Revise and improve written work based on instructor feedback
Practice writing independently outside class hours
Bring required learning materials (notebook, pen, and laptop/tablet if required)
Demonstrate commitment to improving writing accuracy and organization
The VIP English Writing Course for Grade 11–12 is designed to help students master different types of writing required for school, exams, and academic communication.
Throughout the course, students will learn how to plan, write, and improve their written work using correct grammar, appropriate vocabulary, and clear structure.
The course covers a variety of writing types, including narrative essays, informative essays, evaluative essays, formal and informal emails, letters to teachers, and advertisement writing.
Students will receive guided instruction, model examples, and personalized feedback to strengthen their writing skills and build confidence.
This VIP course focuses on individual support, helping students express ideas clearly, write accurately, and meet Grade 11–12 academic writing standards.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Write different types of texts, including narrative, informative, and evaluative essays
Organize ideas clearly using appropriate structure and paragraphing
Use correct grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure in writing
Apply suitable vocabulary and linking words for different writing purposes
Write formal and informal emails using correct format and tone
Write polite and well-structured letters to teachers
Create clear and persuasive advertisements
Plan, draft, edit, and improve written work independently
Communicate ideas confidently and effectively in written English

Dr. Hana Al Balushi is a distinguished academic and professional, celebrated for her expertise in Environmental Education, Curriculum Development, and Sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Education and advanced degrees a Master’s and Ph.D. in Education and Curriculum Development, with a focus on Environmental Education and Sustainability.
As a high-achieving scholar, Dr. Hana won the Scientific Research Award for Outstanding Performance in 2015 and the prestigious PHD Chair from Northumbria University, UK, in 2016. She was also honored by the Embassy of Oman in London for her academic excellence and distinguished achievements.
Dr. Hana has presented numerous training workshops in education, development, and environmental awareness and has published extensively in international journals, contributing to education, environmental sustainability, and the development of sustainable societies. Her research delves into environmental behaviors and trends, with a focus on enhancing environmental education in Oman.
Through her roles as a coach, trainer, consultant, and researcher, Dr. Hana has gained expertise in research ethics, higher education teaching, sustainable development strategies, and the organization of research. At Dalilk Institution, she continues to inspire, educate, and drive transformative change in education and sustainability on both local and global scales.
